How much is Freight & what’s involved?
Complete Pad is happy to arrange freight quotes on your behalf to anywhere in Australia! For stock items our trusted furniture carriers deliver to most metro areas within 10 – 14 working days. Delivery time frames are typically during business hours only Monday to Friday. Additional charges may apply for afterhours. Smaller items from our online store are delivered via couriers and, depending on your location, delivery usually takes place within 3 – 7 working days. We always request that the freight company contact you prior to delivery so you can make arrangements for someone to be on site. Courier companies will not call ahead prior to delivery but we are always happy to provide tracking details upon request so you can follow the progress of your delivery!
Complete Pad can also deliver outside metro areas, simply email us with your postcode and suburb name and the items that you are interested in and we will be in touch with a competitive quote within 3 working days. Please let us know if your home or business has difficult access such as a steep or narrow driveway, stairs, awkward corridors, low ceiling heights or lifts as this may affect the quote.
As our furniture is dispatched directly from many national suppliers, the cost of freight will vary depending on the item, the quantity and your location. Generally, for metro areas from an interstate supplier, furniture transit cost starts from $140. Rubbish removal, installation and assembly can be arranged upon request for an additional charge.
Due to the value of the goods we transport, a signature is always required upon delivery. Please ensure someone will be available to sign for your order. If you are confident that your home has a ‘safe’ place to leave goods, you can leave a signed note on your front door instructing to leave goods in a specific location. If you proceed with this option we cannot accept any responsibility for theft or damage.
You are welcome to arrange your own delivery!
If you are located in the same city as the supplier, you have the option to pick up the goods from the supplier direct.
Touch Interiors / Complete Pad can also provide an option for insuring your goods during transit as occasionally unforeseeable circumstances arise. Insurance is an additional 30% of the quoted freight cost. We usually suggest this option for goods traveling a long distance or outside of metro cities where double handling or storage between warehouses may be required. Where can I view your products?
Complete Pad is an online shop and therefore does not have a showroom where you can view this product. In few cases, depending on which Capital City you are based, it may be possible to direct you to a supplier’s showroom.
Do I have to buy over the net?
Yes, from the launch of our public web site our systems will be interlocked to the web site. This will allow us to make maximum administration savings and allow us to maintain our very low prices. Therefore, orders will only be processed over the internet. If you have particular concerns about paying online we are happy to take a phone order and bank transfer.
How do I know if something is in stock?
Most of our stock is sourced directly from the supplier and requirers a stockcheck. If an item is temporarily unavailable we will contact you with alternatives or the expected lead-time.
What are the measurements on the shopping site for product?
All measuremenst are in CM’s unless otherwsie stated.
